The record is to be measured as a percent % ratio between the energy of the output to the energy of the input, as prescribed by intentional/national standards
For the purpose of this record, a hybrid (or dual fuel) heating system is powered by either wood chips or pellets, and may combine the boiler with a renewable source of heat such as a heat pump.
For the purposes of this record, condensing biomass heating systems using exhaust gas converters will not be monitored under this record.
