The largest guzheng ensemble consists of 8,695 participants and was achieved by Hua Yue Zhen Yin Cultural Media Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Baijiazhengming Zheng Industry Management Co., Ltd. (both China) in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China, on 18 August 2019.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the PRC, the organiser of the Third International Guzheng Musical Festival attempted the largest guzheng ensemble in Zhuhai International Air Exhibition Center. Most of the participants were students and guzheng enthusiasts who have learned to play the guzheng in their spare time.
