The most confetti released in one minute is 186.74 kg (411.69 lbs) and was achieved by World Pride Music Festival (USA), at AFAS Live, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 2 August 2026

The record was achieved during a sold-out World Pride Music Festival at AFAS Live, Amsterdam’s 6,000-capacity concert venue. The two-night event celebrated music, unity and Pride, with World Pride Music Festival working alongside Insomniac, Tad Touch and 360 Show Design to stage the record attempt.

The one-minute attempt formed part of a specially created 10-minute show sequence, featuring colourful flames, pyrotechnics, light design, graphics and messages of celebration and positivity. A total of 186.74 kg (411.69 lb) of confetti was released reaching up to 12 metres high over the crowd, setting a new Guinness World Records title for the most confetti released in one minute. The record-breaking spectacle took place shortly before Madonna took to the stage, with the Queen of Pop later joined by Kylie Minogue during her performance.

The record title was presented to the core team who facilitated the attempt, including Thomas Vandewalle, Project Manager from Tad Touch; Jade Boes, Project Manager from Insomniac Europe B.V.; Kevin Box, Show Caller from 360 Show Design; and Tim Nijs, Head of SFX from GO FX Special Effects BV, alongside technical team members Arjan Kamp, Frank van Dongen and Tijn Wolfert.
