Mark's attempt occurred in the Dubai desert. As someone in his 40's, he hopes his record achievement will demonstrate that we can all push our boundaries and achieve great things. With his attempt he raised awareness for a stray dog rescue centre in Dubai. In 2024, he also set the record for the most consecutive days to run a half marathon distance on a treadmill (male) at 125 days.
