The greatest distance in 24 hours by chin controlled motorised wheelchair is 312 km (193 mi), achieved by Tatiana Finlayson (USA) in Redmond, Washington, USA, on 30-31 May 2023.

Tatiana, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, took on this challenge to push her limits and raise money to support the ALS Association. Her highlight of the event was being met by Ian Mackay, who previously achieved the record for greatest distance in 24 hours by mouth controlled motorised wheelchair, during her penultimate lap, as he encouraged her to push on and reach her goal.

After completing the attempt she travelled straight to T-Mobile Baseball Stadium to deliver a symbolic baseball she carried with her throughout the arduous 24-hour trek. This precious cargo was intended for an extraordinary individual living with ALS, destined to be used for the ceremonial first pitch as the Seattle Mariners faced off against the New York Yankees.

She was able to raise $7,645 for the ALS Association.
