Iden claimed the IRONMAN® World Championship at his first attempt – and in record time. He completed the 2.4-mile swim in 48:23, the 112-mile bike ride in 4:11:06, and the 26.2-mile marathon in 2:36:15 – also a course record. The first four finishers in 2022 all came in under the previous championship record time.
