The first person to cross the English Channel on a boat controlled by the mouth is Natasha Lambert (UK) when she sailed from Boulogne, France to Dover, UK in four and a half hours.

Natasha was born with quadriplegic athetoid cerebral palsey, so her father, Gary Lambert, adapted a boat called Miss Isle to be controlled by a tube Natasha keeps in her mouth. It's rigged so her breath can turn the rudders; if she exhales into the tube slightly, the rudders turn port, and when she inhales, they turn starboard.
