The fastest hat-trick on debut in a Bundesliga football (soccer) match is 19 minutes 48 seconds, achieved by Erling Braut Haaland (Norway) for Borussia Dortmund against Augsburg on 18 January 2020 at the WWK-Arena in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.
Haaland scored in the 59th, 71st and 79th minutes against Augsburg having started the game on the bench. His three goals took him only 10 touches. Dortmund won the game 5–3. Haaland became the first player to score a debut Bundesliga hat-trick as a substitute, and the second-youngest player ever to score a hat-trick in the German league, behind Walter Bechtold for Eintracht Frankfurt in 1965.
