The fastest average time to solve a 3x3x3 rotating puzzle cube while blindfolded is 14.05 seconds, achieved by Tommy Cherry (USA) at the Rubik’s WCA European Championship 2024 event in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, on 28 July 2024.
Cherry recorded solve times of 13.48 seconds, 14.42 seconds and 14.24 seconds.
The American speedcuber beat his previous record time of 14.15 seconds, which he set at the Rubik's WCA World Championship 2023 event in Incheon, South Korea, on 15 August 2023.
Cherry also holds the single-solve version of this record (12 seconds flat).
