Largest landscape video display

The largest landscape video display consisted of 634,500 individual light sources created by Tait Technologies (UK) and was presented at the London Olympics opening ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Olympic Park in Stratford, London, UK, on 27 July 2012. The system consisted of 70,500 pixel tablets, with 9 pixel per tablet. Each pixel is a 3 coloured LED light. The tablets were installed amongst the seats of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, London. During the ceremony, the system was used to display moving images across a section of the seating area 600 metres (1,968 ft 6 in) long and 60 meters (196 ft 10 in) tall. The same display was then also used again at the closing ceremony.
