Lowest Bacon number

In 1994 a trivia game emerged on the World Wide Web based on the ‘small world phenomenon’, linking people in the movie industry to US actor Kevin Bacon. A person’s Bacon number is the fewest steps from them to Kevin based on movie appearances. For example UK actor Sir Patrick Stewart was in Star Trek Generations (1994) with Glen Morshower, who was in X-Men: First Class (2011) with Kevin Bacon. This gives the former Starfleet captain a Bacon number of 2. By definition, the person with the lowest Bacon number is Kevin Bacon himself, with a Bacon number of zero.
