Fastest marathon distance flipping a tyre by a pair
  • This record is for the fastest time for a team of two to complete a marathon distance while alternatively flipping a tyre over a marathon course.
  • This record is to be attempted by a team of two.
  • This record is measured in hours, minutes and seconds, to the nearest 100th of a second.
  • For the purpose of this record, flipping a tyre is the action of lifting a tyre from the ground which has been laid horizontally. The tyre must be lifted so the tread of the tyre is on the ground and the tyre is upright (as would be positioned if on a vehicle). The tyre is then flipped/pushed so it lands back horizontally, this action will move the tyre forwards.
  • Marathon distance is 42.195 km / 26 miles 385 yards.
